When unique legal issues arise, Casey’s clients know she is standing by willing and eager to assist.

Casey always knew she was destined to become an attorney. She is an avid reader and has always seemed to gravitate towards legal suspense books. After earning her undergraduate degree in political science and law, she pushed full speed ahead and made her dreams a reality. While pursuing her J.D., Casey received numerous accolades for her achievements, including placing in the top 1/3 oral score in the Herzog Intraschool Moot Court Competition. She was also the recipient of the Predatory Home Lending Scholarship, and a member of the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Honors Council.

More recently, Casey has received industry-wide recognition for demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and a consistently positive attitude (among other notable achievements), as evidenced by her selection to the 2017 MReport Women in Housing List. The list is published by MReport Magazine, one of the country’s leading sources for mortgage banking news.

Casey is the office managing attorney for the firm’s Chicago office, where she focuses on real estate and consumer collections - including repossessions, seizure and impound, emergency replevin, and auto title issues. Working directly with vice presidents of collections, collections supervisors, and foreclosure specialists, she enjoys educating her clients on the law and its applicability to their day-to-day work. She recently assisted a client that was expanding business into the state of Illinois, who had not anticipated the differences in the state’s unique laws. After consulting with Casey, they were able to develop new processes and procedures to help keep their new operations in compliance.

Born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana, Casey loves “all things Purdue.” She has spent a lot of time cheering on Purdue sports, as well as the Cubs and the Saints. She also loves to travel to new places and to race, and she regularly combines these interests in each trip that she takes. Her personal goal is to compete the world major marathons. So far, she has completed marathons or half-marathons in Chicago (4 times for St. Jude), New York, Berlin (for the American Lung Association), and more! One of the most rewarding races she participates in is the St. Jude Half Marathon in Memphis.
