Practicing in consumer collections for more than 30 years, William “Bill” helps clients with large volumes of unpaid accounts to recover their losses as quickly as possible. Representing utility companies who have had their equipment or property damaged, he pursues litigation against the responsible party to recover the costs of repairs. Bill also assists auto lenders who are seeking to recover their collateral after their borrowers stop paying on their loans, and credit card issuers/banks who need to recover unpaid loans. 

Bill once covered a case where a homeowner rented a backhoe and inadvertently dug into and punctured a major natural gas line, causing the entire town to lose service during one of the coldest days of the winter. The gas company worked diligently to repair the damage as quickly as possible, and the resulting costs were astronomical. Although the homeowner was responsible, their insurance company disputed liability, and they raised a number of defenses during the trial. After two years of intense litigation, Bill successfully defeated all of their defenses and the claim was ultimately paid in full.

Born and raised in a suburb of Pittsburgh (Butler), Bill officially moved to the “Steel City” after completing law school, and has resided there ever since. He spends most of his free time in the mountains where he and his wife have an old farmhouse. They enjoy a variety of outdoor projects such as gardening, hunting, and fishing. They also manage an orchard, where every fall they press their own apple cider, as well as make their own maple syrup in the spring.
