Weltman Welcomes New Associate in Cincinnati

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA (Weltman), the nation’s largest creditors’ rights law firm based on revenue and placements according to Collections & Credit Risk magazine, is pleased to welcome new associate, Jon J. Lieberman.

Jon Lieberman will be practicing in the Bankruptcy Group of the Cincinnati office. With more than 20 years of bankruptcy experience, Jon is extremely knowledgeable of the industry. He earned his B.A. Semple Classics Scholar Summa Cum Laude Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Cincinnati in 1985 (Distinguished Military Graduate Air Force ROTC), and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1990. A member of the Cincinnati, Kentucky and Northern Kentucky Bar Associations, Jon is licensed in Ohio and Kentucky and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts (Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, Eastern and Western Districts, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana), the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Supreme Court. Jon is Master of the Bench for Salmon P. Chase American Inn of Court and Editor of the American Bankruptcy Institute Legislation Newsletter. He was a member of the Board of Trustees for the Cincinnati Bar Association, Chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association Real Property Law Committee and Program Chair for the American Bankruptcy Law Forum. Jon was awarded the Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Law Class V and won the Outstanding Leader Award from Boy Scouts of America Law Explorers Program. He is Founder of the Judge Carl B. Rubin Legal Society, involved with the 32 Degree Mason and Scottish Rite and is active in Boy Scouts of America Pack 727.
