Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA Welcomes Two New Attorneys to Chicago Office

CHICAGO - Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, a full-service creditors' rights law firm with over 92 years of client service, is pleased to announce the addition of attorneys Greg Czaicki and Jason Ruggerio to the firm’s Chicago office.

Greg started working in creditors’ rights during the implosion of the U.S. housing market bubble from 2008-10. During this period, he worked as an attorney for the largest mortgage foreclosure law firm in the State of Illinois.  While there, Greg handled a high volume of judicial mortgage foreclosures and evictions on behalf of national banks, mortgage servicers, and credit unions. Over 15 years later, he continues to work in mortgage foreclosure, collections, bankruptcy, and evictions.

“I am excited to be part of the Weltman Team. I look forward to providing our clients with quality legal services in the real estate default area,” says Greg.

“We’re thrilled to have Greg join the Real Estate Default Group in our Chicago office,” says shareholder and Real Estate Default Group chair Ben Hoen. “His expertise in the creditors’ rights field and his superior legal skills will benefit our team immensely. I’m excited to see him grow at the firm.”

Jason has always enjoyed tackling a problem and searching for a solution. Thinking back, there’s no surprise that he decided to be an attorney! He is now a member of the firm’s Consumer Collections Group. Jason is licensed in Michigan, Florida, and Illinois and has been involved in litigation for over 10 years. Throughout his career, he has focused solely on debtor-creditor law-related fields of practice and in that capacity has represented several mortgage lenders and servicers, original creditors, and debt buyers.

“I am pleased to be part of the Weltman team! I am looking forward to working with everyone at Weltman and providing exceptional service to our clients,” says Jason.

“We are very happy to have Jason and Greg join our team,” says shareholder and Chicago office managing attorney Casey Hicks. “Jason’s vast litigation experience has allowed him to jump right in. He has quickly become an asset to our team and a great benefit to our clients. Greg’s tenured experience and knowledge of mortgage foreclosures and collection matters is a great addition to our growing practice.”
