Megan brings a top-tier law education and diverse work experience to the Weltman team. She joined the firm’s real estate default group with a focus on evictions and foreclosures.
Highly regarded for strong emotional intelligence and communication skills, Megan has the ability to foster collegial relationships with everyone she interacts with, from clients and co-workers to opposing counsel.
Prior to joining Weltman, Megan held various legal positions as a law clerk and attorney. Her background includes advising clients as associate counsel for a real estate law firm, working as a quality specialist for a massive litigation management firm, completing four judicial clerkships, and serving the Office of General Counsel for Cleveland State University.
Megan’s multi-faceted experience gives her a competitive edge, allowing her to understand the law from various vantage points. She’s especially proud of her strong record in the foreclosure litigation field, where she managed a large caseload of contested foreclosures. Her knack for problem solving allows her to bring effective, innovative solutions to the table.
Born, raised, and educated in Cleveland, Ohio, Megan is excited to continue her legal journey in the city she’s always called “home.” She graduated cum laude from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 2020.
Outside of her day-to-day work, Megan is a passionate advocate for individuals on the autism spectrum and strives to expand their access to employment and education. She also enjoys spending time with her family and cat Lulu, painting, listening to music, and watching Cleveland sports (despite the emotional ups and downs).
